A dark walnut double leaf worked with arched, divided stained glass and carved frames. It appears in the catalog under code BD-TR38. It is not sold in standard sizes; your entrance is measured on site and the leaf is manufactured to fit. The finish in the photo is dark walnut cladding.

Product code: BD-TR38

Glass and Surface Details

It is produced as a double leaf with two sidelights. The face carries classic carved frames, finished in dark walnut.

The glazed section consists of arched, divided stained glass. The door is finished with long stainless steel handles. Cladding and hardware are not fixed; the door can be produced with any of the alternatives on the cladding options page.

The design language is classic villa.

Suitable Entrances

Residence apartments and villa entrances are this model's typical settings. Since the side sections widen the opening, it suits wide-fronted entrances rather than narrow ones — and brings daylight into the hallway. The difference between these two door types isn't just size; we go into detail on the villa door vs. building entrance door page.

Measurement, Production, and Installation

Measurements are taken from the door opening, not the existing leaf; we've written up the process step by step on the how measurements are taken page. Frame, sheet thickness, infill, and lock specifications are listed in the table below. The choice of sheet steel is compared on the galvanized or DKP sheet steel page and the lock alternatives on the lock systems page. After delivery, warranty and service coverage takes effect; see the care and lifespan page for keeping the surface in good shape.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the price set for BD-TR38?

There is no fixed price — since every leaf is made to measure, the total depends on the dimensions, the cladding, and the lock you choose. After the survey we send a written, itemized quote. We break down the line items on the steel door prices page.

Can the color of the BD-TR38 door be changed?

Yes. The dark walnut finish shown is this model's catalog choice; it can be produced in other colors with compact laminate, composite, marine plywood, and wood veneer options. We compare them on the cladding options page.

Can the glass pattern be different?

Yes. The glass shown is this model's catalog finish; it can be produced in a different color and pattern, provided Şişecam 5+5 mm laminated glass is used. The door can also be made without glass.

How is BD-TR38 measured?

Measuring is our job. We measure the clear width of the door opening, the height from the finished floor, and the wall thickness; the details are on the how measurements are taken page.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a custom villa door?

Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.

How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?

Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.

What measurements do you need to quote?

The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.

Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?

Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.

Who installs the door at the destination?

Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.

What export documents travel with the shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
