A pedimented frame, panels and gold plate details on a dark walnut double leaf — that is what sets apart this villa steel door, code BD-TR14. Production begins after your order: first we carry out a site survey, then the leaf is manufactured to the door opening. The image shows the dark walnut finish.
Product Code: BD-TR14
Leaf and Upper Section
It is produced as a double leaf. The surface detailing consists of panels and gold plates. The color applied is dark walnut.
A pedimented frame sits above the leaf. A gold knocker and gold handle serve as the hardware. Color, pattern and handle choices can be tailored to your project; the cladding options page compares the alternatives.
The design language is defined as classic villa.
Where Is It Used?
It is typically used at detached homes and homes with gardens. Because the side sections widen the assembly, it suits wide-fronted entrances rather than narrow ones — and brings daylight into the entrance hall. The difference between these two door types is not just size; we cover it in detail on the villa door vs. building entrance door page.
Production and Installation Process
We take the measurements during the site survey — based on the door opening, not the existing leaf; the method is explained on the how measurements are taken page. You will find this model's frame, leaf and lock values in the table below; the lock systems and galvanized or DKP sheet steel pages detail the options. The care steps that extend the door's life are on the care and lifespan page, and coverage details are on the warranty and service page.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the BD-TR14 cost?
The price cannot be quoted before measuring. The size of the door opening and your cladding, glass and lock choices directly affect the cost; the site survey is free and is followed by an itemized quote. See steel door prices for details.
Can the BD-TR14 be produced in a different color?
Yes, the color is not fixed. The catalogue shows dark walnut, but the cladding is decided per project; on the cladding options page we describe which surface works best where.
How are measurements taken for the BD-TR14?
Measuring is our job. We measure the clear width of the door opening, its height from the finished floor and the wall thickness; details are on the how measurements are taken page.
How do I get a quote for the BD-TR14?

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the lead time for a custom villa door?
Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.
How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?
Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.
What measurements do you need to quote?
The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.
Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?
Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.
Who installs the door at the destination?
Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.
What export documents travel with the shipment?
Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
