A red walnut paneled leaf with a black knocker and a recessed letter slot — that is what sets the villa steel door BD-TR96 apart. Production begins after you order: first comes an on-site survey, then the leaf is manufactured to fit the door opening. The finish in the photo is red walnut cladding.

Product code: BD-TR96

Surface and Glazing

It is produced as a single leaf with a narrow fixed side panel. The face carries panel work, applied in red walnut.

The glazing is arranged as a narrow vertical pane. The hardware is a black knocker with a letter slot. Color, pattern, and handle can all be changed to suit your project; the cladding options page compares what's available.

The design language is classic villa.

Where Is It Used?

Detached houses and villa entrances are this model's typical settings. It is designed for wide openings: the side sections both make up the measurement and light the entrance. The difference between these two door types isn't just size; we go into detail on the villa door vs. building entrance door page.

Production and Installation Process

Production starts with measurements taken on site. How the door opening is measured is explained on the how measurements are taken page; material choices are covered on the galvanized or DKP sheet steel and lock systems pages. This model's technical specifications are in the table below. The maintenance steps that extend the door's life are on the care and lifespan page, and what's covered is on the warranty and service page.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the BD-TR96 model cost?

We don't publish list prices, because every door is made to measure. The total is determined by the size of the door opening and the cladding, glass, and lock you choose. After the free site survey we send a written quote, itemized line by line; we explain what moves the price on the steel door prices page.

Can BD-TR96 be produced in a different color?

Yes, the color isn't fixed. It appears in red walnut in the catalog, but the cladding is decided per project; on the cladding options page we've written up which surface works best where.

Can the glass pattern be different?

Yes. The glass shown is this model's catalog finish; it can be produced in a different color and pattern, provided Şişecam 5+5 mm laminated glass is used. The door can also be made without glass.

How does the measuring stage work when ordering BD-TR96?

Our survey team measures on site. Still, if you'd like to know the process, the how measurements are taken page explains the three points we measure from.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a custom villa door?

Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.

How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?

Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.

What measurements do you need to quote?

The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.

Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?

Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.

Who installs the door at the destination?

Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.

What export documents travel with the shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
