An off-white double leaf with stepped panels, set within an arched niche. It appears in the catalogue under code BD-TR73. Production begins after your order: first we carry out an on-site survey, then the leaf is built to fit the door opening.

Product Code: BD-TR73

Surface and Pediment Arrangement

The leaf structure is double leaf. The leaf carries a stepped panel composition. The finish is in an off-white tone.

Above the leaf sits an arched niche. Black lantern-style knockers are used as handles. Cladding and hardware are not fixed; it can be produced with any of the alternatives on the cladding options page.

The design language is best described as classic villa.

Which Entrances Does It Suit?

Homes with gardens and villa entrances are this model's typical settings. Because the side sections widen the opening, it suits wide-fronted entrances rather than narrow ones; it also brings daylight into the hall. We compare where a villa door and a building entrance door differ on the villa door vs building entrance door page.

From Measurement to Installation

Production starts with measurements taken on site. The how to measure page explains how the opening is measured; material choices are covered on the galvanized or DKP sheet steel and lock systems pages. The technical specifications for this model are listed in the table below. After delivery, warranty and service coverage applies; see the care and lifespan page for keeping the surface in good condition.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the price of BD-TR73 determined?

We do not publish a list price, because every door is made to measure. The final amount depends on the size of the opening and the cladding, glass and lock you choose. After a free on-site survey we provide a written, itemized quote; the steel door prices page explains what drives the price.

Can BD-TR73 be produced in a different colour?

Yes — the colour is not fixed. The catalogue shows off-white, but the cladding is decided per project; on the cladding options page we explain which surface works best where.

How does the measurement stage work when ordering BD-TR73?

Measuring is our job. We measure the clear width of the opening, the height from the finished floor and the wall thickness; the details are on the how to measure page.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a custom villa door?

Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.

How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?

Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.

What measurements do you need to quote?

The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.

Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?

Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.

Who installs the door at the destination?

Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.

What export documents travel with the shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
