The BD-TR82 horizontal rectangular dark walnut villa door is built as a wide, dark walnut-toned entrance shaped by the rhythm of horizontal rectangular panels. It's manufactured to measure — whatever the width and height of your entrance, the leaf is built to match. The catalog finish is a dark walnut tone.

Product Code: BD-TR82

Surface and Pediment Layout

The panel structure is double-leaf with side panels. The panel shows a row of horizontal rectangular panels. The finish is a dark walnut tone.

There is a paneled transom above. The model uses a concealed handle. The finish shown is simply the catalog's default — a different finish can be chosen from the finish options.

The design language is best described as classic villa.

Which Entrance Is It Suited For?

It's typically used for houses with gardens and detached houses projects. Thanks to the side sections, wide door openings can be covered with a single configuration. We compare where villa doors and building entrance doors differ on the villa doors vs. building entrance doors page.

Measurement, Production, and Installation

The measurement is taken from the door opening, not the existing leaf; we've written out the step-by-step method on the how we take the measurement page. The frame, sheet-metal thickness, infill, and lock specifications are listed in the table below. The sheet-metal choice is compared on the galvanized vs. cold-rolled steel page, and lock alternatives on the lock systems page. After installation, the maintenance and lifespan guidance and warranty and service terms apply.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the price of the BD-TR82 model?

There's no fixed price — since every leaf is manufactured to measure, the amount varies with the size, the finish, and the lock you select. We send a detailed written quote after the survey. We've broken down the cost items on the steel door prices page.

Can the color of the BD-TR82 door be changed?

Yes. The dark walnut finish shown is the catalog's default choice; the model can also be produced in other colors using compact laminate, composite, water-transfer, or wood-effect finishes. We compare the options on the finish options page.

How is the measurement taken for BD-TR82?

We take the measurement during the site survey — no action is needed from you. It's the door opening that's measured, not the existing leaf; we've explained the method on the how we take the measurement page.

How can I order the BD-TR82 model?

You can fill out the pre-order form on the site, or call us at 0532 689 21 46. Mentioning the BD-TR82 product code in your request speeds things up. You can browse other models on the villa steel door models page.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a custom villa door?

Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.

How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?

Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.

What measurements do you need to quote?

The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.

Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?

Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.

Who installs the door at the destination?

Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.

What export documents travel with the shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
