BD-TR117 is a villa steel door model distinguished by a vertical anthracite band splitting a knotty, light-oak slatted panel. It isn't sold in ready-made sizes; your entrance is measured on site, and the leaf is manufactured to that measurement. The photo shows the light oak (knotty) finish.

Product Code: BD-TR117

Panel Surface

It is manufactured as a single leaf with an anthracite band. The surface treatment is horizontal slats with a vertical anthracite band. The surface is finished in light oak (knotty).

It is completed with a concealed handle. The finish shown is simply the catalog's default — a different finish can be chosen from the finish options.

The design language is best described as modern villa.

Where Is It Used?

It's typically used for detached houses and houses with gardens projects. The single-leaf layout adapts directly to standard door openings. The difference between the two door types isn't just size — we go into detail on the villa doors vs. building entrance doors page.

Production and Installation Process

We take the measurement during the survey — it's based on the door opening, not the existing leaf; the method is explained on the how we take the measurement page. You'll find this model's frame, leaf, and lock specifications in the table below; the lock systems and galvanized vs. cold-rolled steel pages go into the options in more detail. After delivery, the warranty and service coverage applies; see the maintenance and lifespan page for how to protect the finish.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the price of the BD-TR117 model?

We can't quote a price before the measurement is taken. The size of the door opening, the finish, the glass, and the lock all directly affect the amount; the survey is free, and we follow it with an itemized quote. See steel door prices for details.

Can the color of the BD-TR117 door be changed?

Yes, the color isn't fixed. The catalog shows light oak (knotty), but the finish is chosen to suit each project; on the finish options page we cover which surface works best where.

Do I need to take the measurement myself?

Taking the measurement is our job. We measure the clear width of the door opening, the height from the finished floor, and the wall thickness; the details are on the how we take the measurement page.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a custom villa door?

Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.

How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?

Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.

What measurements do you need to quote?

The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.

Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?

Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.

Who installs the door at the destination?

Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.

What export documents travel with the shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
