A honey walnut double leaf with wide glazing above and carved, vertically grooved panels below — that is what sets this villa steel door, code BD-TR119, apart. It has no standard size — the door opening is measured during the survey and the door is built to that measurement. The finish in the photo is honey walnut.

Product Code: BD-TR119

Glass, Upper Section and Surface

The model is configured as a double leaf. The lower surface carries a carved, vertically grooved panel. The color applied is honey walnut.

The upper section features wide clear glazing. Above the leaves sits a corniced frame. Two long vertical stainless steel handles are used. Neither the surface finish nor the hardware is fixed; the door can be produced with any of the alternatives on our surface finish options page.

The design language is best described as classic-modern villa.

Suitable Entrances

Residence apartments and houses with gardens are where this model is typically used. It is designed for wide openings: the side sections make up the width while also bringing light into the entrance. The difference between these two door types is not just size; we cover it in detail on the villa door vs. building entrance door page.

From Measurement to Installation

Measurements are taken from the door opening, not the existing leaf; we explain the process step by step on the how measurements are taken page. Frame, sheet thickness, infill and lock specifications are listed in the table below. Sheet steel choices are compared on the galvanized or DKP sheet steel page, and lock alternatives on the lock systems page. After installation, our care and lifespan guidance and warranty and service terms apply.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the BD-TR119 cost?

There is no fixed price — since every leaf is made to measure, the total depends on the dimensions, the surface finish and the lock you choose. After the survey we send a written, fully itemized quotation. We break down the cost items on our steel door prices page.

Can the BD-TR119 be produced in a different color?

Yes, it can. Honey walnut is simply the finish shown in the photo, not a fixed choice — you can pick from the alternatives on our surface finish options page.

Can the glass have a different pattern?

Yes. The glass in the image is this model's catalog finish; provided Şişecam 5+5 mm laminated glass is used, it can be produced in different colors and patterns. It can also be produced without glass.

Do I need to take the measurements myself?

Measuring is our job. We measure the clear width of the door opening, its height from the finished floor and the wall thickness; the details are on the how measurements are taken page.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a custom villa door?

Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.

How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?

Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.

What measurements do you need to quote?

The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.

Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?

Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.

Who installs the door at the destination?

Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.

What export documents travel with the shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
