TR338 is a pivot steel door model defined by the wide horizontal stainless band that cuts across its antiqued metal surface. It is manufactured to order; whatever the width and height of your entrance, the leaf is built to match. The photo shows the dark antiqued metal finish.

Product Code: TR338

Leaf Surface

The model is configured as a single pivot leaf. A wide horizontal stainless band runs across the center of the surface. The surface is finished in dark antiqued metal.

It is completed with a handle recessed into the band. The finish shown is the catalog choice — a different cladding can be selected from the cladding options.

Its design language is best described as designer pivot.

Suitable Entrances

It is typically used for hotel and showroom entrances and villa entrances. The single-leaf arrangement adapts directly to conventional door openings. The leaf turns on bearings set into the floor and the head of the frame, which makes sizes possible that hinges could never carry. In return, it needs swing clearance in front of and behind the door. The when to choose a pivot door page explains which entrances are a good fit.

From Measurement to Installation

Measurements are taken from the door opening, not the existing leaf; the how measurements are taken page walks through it step by step. Frame, sheet thickness, infill and lock values are listed in the specification table below. Sheet choice is compared on the galvanized or DKP sheet page, and lock alternatives on the lock systems page. Care steps that extend the door's life are on the care and lifespan page, and what is covered is on the warranty and service page.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the price set for the TR338?

We don't publish list prices, because every door is made to measure. The total is set by the size of the door opening and the cladding, glass and lock you choose. After a free on-site survey we provide a written, fully itemized quote; the steel door prices page explains what moves the price.

Can the color of the TR338 be changed?

Yes, the color isn't fixed. The catalog shows dark antiqued metal, but the cladding is decided per project; the cladding options page covers which surface works best where.

How is the TR338 measured?

Our survey team measures on site. If you'd still like to know the process, the how measurements are taken page explains the three points we measure.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a custom villa door?

Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.

How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?

Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.

What measurements do you need to quote?

The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.

Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?

Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.

Who installs the door at the destination?

Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.

What export documents travel with the shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
