The angled-frame walnut oversized pivot door appears in our catalog under code BY-78. Like every door we make, this model is produced to measure; no ready-made leaves are supplied from stock.

Product Code: BY-78

Surface Pattern and Finish

The door is arranged as a single leaf. The surface is worked in an angled-frame, oversized format. The catalog color is a walnut tone.

Color, pattern and handle choices can be adapted to your project; the alternatives are compared on the cladding options page.

Its design language is modern pivot.

Who Is This Model For?

Villa entrances and office and plaza entrances are this model's typical settings. Its single-leaf layout fits entrances of standard width. Because a pivot system transfers the leaf's weight to the floor, it can carry a taller and heavier leaf than a hinged door. As the leaf sweeps space in front and behind as it turns, the entrance must allow for this clearance — details on the when to choose a pivot door page.

Measurement, Production and Installation

Measurements are taken from the door opening, not from the existing leaf; we explain the method step by step on the how measurements are taken page. Frame, sheet thickness, infill and lock values are listed in the specification table below. The choice of sheet is compared on the galvanized sheet or DKP (cold-rolled) sheet page, and lock alternatives on the lock systems page. After delivery, warranty and service coverage applies; see the care and lifespan page for protecting the surface.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the price of the BY-78 determined?

There is no fixed price — since every leaf is built to measure, the total varies with the dimensions, the cladding and the lock you choose. After the survey we send a written, itemized quote. The line items are detailed on the steel door prices page.

Can I have this model in a color other than walnut?

Yes, the color is not fixed. The catalog shows walnut, but the cladding is decided per project; on the cladding options page we describe which surface works best where.

How are measurements taken for the BY-78?

We take the measurements during the survey; nothing is required of you. Measurements are taken from the door opening, not from the existing leaf — the method is explained on the how measurements are taken page.

How do I order the BY-78?

You can fill in the pre-order form on our site or call us on 0532 689 21 46. Mentioning the product code BY-78 in your request speeds things up. You can browse other pivot steel door models on the pivot steel door models page.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a custom villa door?

Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.

How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?

Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.

What measurements do you need to quote?

The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.

Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?

Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.

Who installs the door at the destination?

Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.

What export documents travel with the shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
