BY-208 is the product code of the anthracite frosted-glass pivot door with gold handle in our catalog. Production begins after your order: an on-site survey comes first, and the leaf is then built to fit the door opening. The image shows an anthracite finish.

Product Code: BY-208

Leaf Surface

It is produced as a single leaf. The leaf features a gold handle and frosted glass. The color applied is anthracite.

The finish in the image is the catalog choice — a different cladding can be selected from the cladding options page.

The design language is defined as luxury pivot.

Suitable Entrances

Office and plaza entrances and detached homes with wide frontages are this model's typical settings. The single-leaf format adapts directly to conventional door openings. Since a pivot system transfers the leaf's weight to the floor, it can carry a taller and heavier leaf than a hinged door. As the leaf takes up space at the front and back while turning, the entrance must allow for this clearance — details are on the when to choose a pivot door page.

Measurement, Production and Installation

Production starts with measurements taken on site. How the door opening is measured is covered on the how measurements are taken page; material choices on the galvanized or DKP sheet steel and lock systems pages. This model's technical values are in the table below. Maintenance steps that extend the door's life are on the care and lifespan page, and what is covered is on the warranty and service page.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the BY-208 cost?

There is no fixed price — since every leaf is made to measure, the total depends on the dimensions, the cladding and the lock you choose. After the survey we send a written, itemized quote. The line items are detailed on the steel door prices page.

Can the BY-208 be produced in a different color?

Yes. The anthracite finish in the image is this model's catalog choice; it can be produced in other colors with compact laminate, composite, marine plywood and wood veneer options. We compare them on the cladding options page.

Do I need to take the measurements myself?

Our survey team measures on site. If you would still like to know the process, the how measurements are taken page explains the three points we measure.

How do I get a quote for the BY-208?

You can fill in the pre-order form on our site or call us on 0532 689 21 46. Mentioning product code BY-208 in your request speeds the process up. You can browse other pivot steel door models on the pivot steel door models page.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a custom villa door?

Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.

How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?

Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.

What measurements do you need to quote?

The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.

Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?

Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.

Who installs the door at the destination?

Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.

What export documents travel with the shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
