The chrome-strip dark walnut double-leaf pivot villa door appears in the catalog under code BY-270. It is not sold in standard sizes; your entrance is measured on site and the leaf is manufactured to fit.

Product code: BY-270

Surface Pattern and Finish

The leaf layout is a double leaf. The surface work is chrome strips. The catalog color is a dark walnut tone.

Color, pattern, and handle can all be changed to suit your project; the cladding options page compares what's available.

The design language is luxury pivot.

Who Is This Model For?

It is chosen primarily for villa entrances and wide-fronted detached houses. Thanks to the side sections, wide door openings are closed with a single unit. Because a pivot system transfers the leaf's weight to the floor, it can carry a taller, heavier leaf than a hinged door. As the leaf swings it takes up space in front and behind, so the entrance must allow for that clearance — details on the when to choose a pivot door page.

Measurement, Production, and Installation

Measurements are taken from the door opening, not the existing leaf; we've written up the process step by step on the how measurements are taken page. Frame, sheet thickness, infill, and lock specifications are listed in the table below. The choice of sheet steel is compared on the galvanized or DKP sheet steel page and the lock alternatives on the lock systems page. After installation, the care and lifespan guidance and warranty and service terms apply.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the BY-270 model cost?

We can't quote a price without measuring. The size of the door opening and your choice of cladding, glass, and lock directly affect the total; the site survey is free, followed by an itemized quote. See steel door prices for details.

Can BY-270 be produced in a different color?

It can be done. Dark walnut is simply the finish in the photo, not a fixed choice — you can pick from the alternatives on the cladding options page.

How does the measuring stage work when ordering BY-270?

Our survey team measures on site. Still, if you'd like to know the process, the how measurements are taken page explains the three points we measure from.

How do I order the BY-270 model?

You can fill in the pre-order form on our site or reach us on 0532 689 21 46. Mentioning the product code BY-270 in your request speeds things up. You can browse other pivot steel door models on the pivot steel door models page.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a custom villa door?

Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.

How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?

Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.

What measurements do you need to quote?

The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.

Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?

Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.

Who installs the door at the destination?

Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.

What export documents travel with the shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
