The clean-lined light walnut pivot villa door, code BY-13, is a pivot steel door model built to measure. Production begins after your order: we first carry out an on-site survey, then manufacture the leaf to fit your door opening. The finish shown in the photo is light walnut cladding.
Product Code: BY-13
Pattern and Color
The model is configured as a single leaf. The leaf is designed with a clean, unadorned surface. The color applied is light walnut.
The finish in the image is the catalog selection — a different surface can be chosen from our cladding options.
Its design language is defined as modern pivot.
Where Is It Used?
Hotel and showroom entrances, along with villa entrances, are where this model is typically used. The monolithic leaf presents an uninterrupted surface from the outside. Since the load rests on the floor rather than on hinges, the leaf can be far wider and thicker. Because it needs swing clearance, it does not suit narrow entrances that open directly onto stairs; the conditions are listed on our when to choose a pivot door page.
From Measurement to Installation
Measurements are taken from the door opening, not the existing leaf; we describe the process step by step on our how to measure page. Frame, sheet thickness, infill and lock values are listed in the specification table below. Sheet steel choices are compared on the galvanized or DKP sheet steel page, lock alternatives on the lock systems page. Maintenance steps that extend the door's life are on the care and lifespan page, and the coverage itself on the warranty and service page.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much is the BY-13?
The price cannot be quoted before measuring. The opening's dimensions and your cladding, glass and lock choices directly affect the total; the survey is free and is followed by an itemized quote. See steel door prices for details.
Can the color of the BY-13 be changed?
Yes — the color is not fixed. The catalog shows light walnut, but the cladding is decided per project; on our cladding options page we cover which surface works best where.
How is the BY-13 measured?
Our survey team measures on site. If you would still like to know the process, our how to measure page explains the three points we measure from.
How do I get a quote for the BY-13?
You can fill out the pre-order form on our site or reach us at 0532 689 21 46. Mentioning product code BY-13 in your request speeds things up. You can browse other pivot steel door models on our pivot steel door models page.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the lead time for a custom villa door?
Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.
How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?
Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.
What measurements do you need to quote?
The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.
Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?
Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.
Who installs the door at the destination?
Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.
What export documents travel with the shipment?
Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
