The BY-273 concealed-handle anthracite recessed-entry pivot door is a pivot steel door built entirely to measure. There is no standard size — the door opening is measured during the survey, and production follows that measurement. The finish in the photo is anthracite cladding.

Product Code: BY-273

Leaf Surface

The model is configured as a single leaf. The leaf is designed with a concealed handle and a recessed entry. The surface is finished in anthracite.

The cladding and hardware are not fixed; it can be produced with any of the alternatives on the cladding options page.

Its design language is best described as modern pivot.

Where Is It Used?

Hotel and showroom entrances along with wide-fronted detached homes are this model's typical settings. The single-leaf layout adapts directly to conventional door openings. The leaf rotates on bearings set into the floor and the head frame, which makes sizes possible that hinges could never carry. In return, it needs swing clearance in front of and behind the door. Our when to choose a pivot door page explains which entrances are a good fit.

From Measurement to Installation

Measurements are taken from the door opening, not the existing leaf; we walk through the process step by step on the how measurements are taken page. Frame, sheet thickness, infill, and lock specifications are listed in the table below. Sheet choices are compared on the galvanized or DKP sheet page, and lock alternatives on the lock systems page. After installation, our care and lifespan guidance and warranty and service terms apply.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the price of BY-273 determined?

There is no fixed price — since every leaf is built to measure, the cost varies with the dimensions, the cladding, and the lock you choose. After the survey, we send a written, itemized quote. The line items are detailed on the steel door prices page.

Can BY-273 be produced in a different color?

It can. Anthracite is simply the finish shown in the photo, not a fixed choice — you can pick from the alternatives on the cladding options page.

How are measurements taken for BY-273?

Our survey team measures on site. If you would still like to know how it works, the how measurements are taken page explains the three points we measure.

How do I get a quote for BY-273?

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a custom villa door?

Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.

How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?

Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.

What measurements do you need to quote?

The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.

Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?

Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.

Who installs the door at the destination?

Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.

What export documents travel with the shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
