The horizontal-grain red walnut chrome-framed pivot door appears in our catalog under the code BY-212. There's no standard size — the door opening is measured during the survey, and production follows that measurement.

Product Code: BY-212

Panel Surface

The panel layout is a single leaf. The surface treatment is horizontal-grain and chrome-framed. The catalog color is a red walnut tone.

The finish shown is simply the catalog's default — a different finish can be chosen from the finish options.

The design language is best described as luxury pivot.

Who Is This Model For?

Villa entrances and hotel and showroom entrances are the typical settings for this model. The single-piece leaf presents an unbroken surface from the outside. Since the load rests on the floor rather than the hinges, the leaf can be considerably wider and thicker. It needs clearance to swing, so it isn't suitable for narrow entrances that open directly onto a staircase; the conditions are listed on the when a pivot door makes sense page.

Measurement, Production, and Installation

Production starts with an on-site measurement. How the measurement is taken from the door opening is covered on the how we take the measurement page; material choices are covered on the galvanized vs. cold-rolled steel and lock systems pages. The technical specifications for this model are in the table below. After delivery, the warranty and service coverage applies; see the maintenance and lifespan page for how to protect the finish.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the price of BY-212 determined?

We can't quote a price before the measurement is taken. The size of the door opening, the finish, the glass, and the lock all directly affect the amount; the survey is free, and we follow it with an itemized quote. See steel door prices for details.

Can the color of the BY-212 door be changed?

It can be. red walnut is simply the finish shown in the photo, not a fixed choice — you can pick from the alternatives on the finish options page.

How does the measurement stage work when ordering BY-212?

Our survey team measures on site. If you'd still like to know how it works, we've explained on the how we take the measurement page which three points we measure.

How can I order the BY-212 model?

You can fill out the pre-order form on the site, or call us at 0532 689 21 46. Mentioning the BY-212 product code in your request speeds things up. You can browse other models on the pivot steel door models page.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a custom villa door?

Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.

How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?

Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.

What measurements do you need to quote?

The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.

Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?

Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.

Who installs the door at the destination?

Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.

What export documents travel with the shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
