BY-114 is the product code for the horizontal-grain walnut steel-handle pivot door in our catalog. Production starts only after an order is placed: an on-site survey comes first, and the leaf is then manufactured to fit the door opening. The photo shows the walnut finish.
Product Code: BY-114
Pattern and Color
It is manufactured as a single leaf. The model features a horizontal-grain panel with a handle. The surface is finished in walnut.
The finish shown is simply the catalog's default — a different finish can be chosen from the finish options.
The design language is best described as modern pivot.
Where Is It Used?
Office and plaza entrances and wide-frontage detached houses are the typical settings for this model. The single-piece leaf presents an unbroken surface from the outside. The leaf turns on pivots set into the floor and the head frame, which makes sizes possible that hinges simply couldn't carry. In return, it needs clearance to swing both in front of and behind the door. The when a pivot door makes sense page explains which entrances are suitable.
Measurement, Production, and Installation
The measurement is taken from the door opening, not the existing leaf; we've written out the step-by-step method on the how we take the measurement page. The frame, sheet-metal thickness, infill, and lock specifications are listed in the table below. The sheet-metal choice is compared on the galvanized vs. cold-rolled steel page, and lock alternatives on the lock systems page. After installation, the maintenance and lifespan guidance and warranty and service terms apply.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is the price of BY-114 determined?
There's no fixed price — since every leaf is manufactured to measure, the amount varies with the size, the finish, and the lock you select. We send a detailed written quote after the survey. We've broken down the cost items on the steel door prices page.
Can I order this model in a color other than walnut?
Yes. The walnut finish shown is the catalog's default choice; the model can also be produced in other colors using compact laminate, composite, water-transfer, or wood-effect finishes. We compare the options on the finish options page.
How does the measurement stage work when ordering BY-114?
The measurement is our job. We measure the clear width of the door opening, the height from the finished floor, and the wall thickness; the details are on the how we take the measurement page.
How do I get a quote for BY-114?
You can fill out the pre-order form on the site, or call us at 0532 689 21 46. Mentioning the BY-114 product code in your request speeds things up. You can browse other models on the pivot steel door models page.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the lead time for a custom villa door?
Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.
How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?
Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.
What measurements do you need to quote?
The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.
Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?
Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.
Who installs the door at the destination?
Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.
What export documents travel with the shipment?
Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
