BY-235 is the product code for the horizontal-grain walnut wood niche pivot door in our catalog. There is no standard size — the door opening is measured during the survey, and production follows that measurement. The photo shows the walnut finish.

Product Code: BY-235

Pattern and Color

It is produced as a single leaf. The model features a horizontal-grain leaf with a wood niche. Walnut is applied as the color.

Color, pattern, and handle selection can all be adjusted to fit the project; we compare the options on our finish options page.

The design language is best described as modern pivot.

Where Is It Used?

It is typically used in hotel and showroom entrance and villa entrance projects. The single-leaf layout adapts directly to standard door openings. In a pivot system the leaf's weight is carried down to the floor, so a taller and heavier leaf can be supported than with a hinged door. As the leaf swings it takes up space both in front and behind, so the entrance needs to allow for that clearance — details are on our when to choose a pivot door page.

From Measurement to Installation

Production begins with an on-site measurement. How the door opening is measured is explained on our how to measure page; material choices are covered on our galvanized vs. DKP steel and lock systems pages. The technical specifications for this model are given in the table below. Maintenance steps that extend the door's lifespan are covered on our maintenance and lifespan page, and coverage details are on our warranty and service page.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does BY-235 cost?

We don't publish a list price, because every door is built to measurement. The cost is determined by the size of the door opening and the finish, glass, and lock you select. After a free survey, we provide a written, itemized quote; we explain what affects the price on our steel door prices page.

Can the color of the BY-235 door be changed?

It can be produced. Walnut is simply the finish shown in the photo, not a fixed choice — you can pick from the alternatives on our finish options page.

How does the measurement stage work when ordering BY-235?

Measuring is our job. We measure the clear width of the door opening, the height from the finished floor, and the wall thickness; details are on our how to measure page.

How do I get a quote for BY-235?

You can fill out the pre-order form on our site or call us at 0532 689 21 46. Mentioning the BY-235 product code speeds up the process. You can browse other pivot steel door models on our pivot steel door models page.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a custom villa door?

Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.

How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?

Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.

What measurements do you need to quote?

The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.

Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?

Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.

Who installs the door at the destination?

Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.

What export documents travel with the shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
