The model on this page is the horizontal-slat red walnut side-glazed pivot villa door, code BY-207. Production begins after the order: an on-site survey comes first, then the leaf is manufactured to match the door opening. The catalog finish is in a red walnut tone.

Product Code: BY-207

Leaf Surface

The leaf configuration is single-leaf. The surface treatment is a horizontal-slat, side-glazed style. The finish is in a red walnut tone.

Finish and hardware are not fixed; the door can be produced with any of the alternatives on our finish options page.

The design language is best described as modern pivot.

Which Entrances Does It Suit?

It's primarily chosen for detached houses with wide façades and villa entrances. Its single-leaf configuration fits standard-width entrances. Because a pivot system transfers the leaf's weight to the floor, it can carry a taller, heavier leaf than a hinged door. As the leaf swings, it needs space both in front and behind, so the entrance must accommodate that clearance — details are on our when to choose a pivot door page.

Measurement, Production, and Installation

We take the measurement during the site survey — it's based on the door opening, not the existing leaf; the method is explained on our how measurements are taken page. You'll find this model's frame, leaf, and lock specifications in the table below; our lock systems and galvanized vs. cold-rolled steel pages break down the options in detail. After delivery, our warranty and service coverage applies; for tips on protecting the surface, see our maintenance and lifespan page.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the price for BY-207 determined?

The price can't be quoted without a measurement. The size of the door opening, along with the finish, glass, and lock selection, directly affects the total; the site survey is free, and we follow it with an itemized quote. For more detail, see steel door prices.

Can I have this model made in a color other than red walnut?

Yes. The red walnut finish shown in the photo is this model's catalog choice; it can be produced in different colors with compact laminate, composite, water-transfer, and wood-look finish options. We've compared the options on our finish options page.

How does the measurement stage work when ordering BY-207?

Measuring is our job. We measure the door opening's clear width, its height from the finished floor, and the wall thickness; the details are on our how measurements are taken page.

How can I order the BY-207 model?

You can fill out the pre-order form on our site or call us at 0532 689 21 46. Mentioning the BY-207 product code speeds up the process. You can browse other pivot steel door models on our pivot steel door models page.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a custom villa door?

Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.

How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?

Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.

What measurements do you need to quote?

The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.

Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?

Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.

Who installs the door at the destination?

Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.

What export documents travel with the shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
