BY-97 is the horizontal-slat yellow-wood wide-leaf pivot door, a pivot steel door model made to measure. Production begins after the order: an on-site survey comes first, then the leaf is manufactured to match the door opening. The finish shown in the photo is a yellow-wood veneer.
Product Code: BY-97
Surface Pattern and Finish
The model is configured as a single leaf. The leaf is designed as a horizontal-slat, wide-leaf format. The surface is finished in yellow wood.
Finish and hardware are not fixed; the door can be produced with any of the alternatives on our finish options page.
The design language is best described as modern pivot.
Where Is It Used?
Hotel and showroom entrances along with villa entrances are the typical settings for this model. Its single-leaf configuration fits standard-width entrances. Because the load rests on the floor rather than on hinges, the leaf can be considerably wider and thicker. Since it needs clearance to swing, it isn't suitable for narrow entrances that open directly onto a staircase; the conditions are listed on our when to choose a pivot door page.
Measurement, Production, and Installation
The measurement is taken from the door opening, not the existing leaf; we've explained step by step how it's measured on our how measurements are taken page. Frame, sheet-steel thickness, infill, and lock specifications are listed in the feature table below. The choice of steel sheet is compared on our galvanized vs. cold-rolled steel page, and lock alternatives on our lock systems page. Maintenance steps that extend the door's lifespan are on our maintenance and lifespan page, and coverage details are on our warranty and service page.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does the BY-97 model cost?
There's no fixed price — since every leaf is manufactured to measure, the total varies with the size, finish, and lock choice. We send a written, itemized quote after the survey. We've broken down the cost items on our steel door prices page.
Can BY-97 be produced in a different color?
It can be. Yellow wood is simply the finish shown in the photo, not a fixed choice — you can pick from the alternatives on our finish options page.
Do I need to take the measurement myself?
We take the measurement during the site survey; nothing is expected from you. The measurement is taken from the door opening, not the existing leaf — we've explained the method on our how measurements are taken page.
How do I get a quote for BY-97?
You can fill out the pre-order form on our site or call us at 0532 689 21 46. Mentioning the BY-97 product code speeds up the process. You can browse other pivot steel door models on our pivot steel door models page.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the lead time for a custom villa door?
Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.
How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?
Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.
What measurements do you need to quote?
The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.
Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?
Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.
Who installs the door at the destination?
Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.
What export documents travel with the shipment?
Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
