BY-129 is the product code of the minimal dark walnut chrome-handle pivot door in our catalog. There is no standard size — the door opening is measured during the survey, and production follows that measurement. The image shows a dark walnut finish.

Product Code: BY-129

Leaf Surface

Produced as a single leaf. The model has a minimal chrome-handle leaf. The color applied is dark walnut.

Color, pattern and handle choices can be adapted to your project; the alternatives are compared on the surface finish options page.

The design language is defined as modern pivot.

Suitable Entrances

It is most often used in hotel and showroom entrance and wide-fronted detached home projects. Its single-leaf design fits entrances of standard width. Because a pivot system transfers the leaf's weight to the floor, it can carry a taller and heavier leaf than a hinged door. Since the leaf sweeps space in front and behind as it turns, the entrance must accommodate this clearance — details on the when to choose a pivot door page.

Production and Installation Process

We take the measurements during the survey — based on the door opening, not the existing leaf; the method is explained on the how measurements are taken page. This model's frame, leaf and lock specifications are in the table below; the lock systems and galvanized or DKP sheet steel pages detail the options. The care steps that extend the door's life are on the care and lifespan page, and coverage details on the warranty and service page.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the BY-129 cost?

A price can't be quoted before measuring. The opening size and your finish, glass and lock choices directly affect the amount; the survey is free and is followed by an itemized quote. See steel door prices for details.

Can the BY-129 be produced in a different color?

It can. Dark walnut is simply the finish photographed, not a fixed choice — you can pick from the alternatives on the surface finish options page.

Do I need to take the measurements myself?

Measuring is our job. We record the clear width of the opening, the height from the finished floor and the wall thickness; details are on the how measurements are taken page.

How do I get a quote for the BY-129?

You can fill out the pre-order form on our site or reach us at 0532 689 21 46. Mentioning product code BY-129 in your request speeds things up. You can browse our other pivot steel door models on the pivot steel door models page.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a custom villa door?

Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.

How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?

Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.

What measurements do you need to quote?

The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.

Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?

Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.

Who installs the door at the destination?

Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.

What export documents travel with the shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
