Minimal dark walnut pivot steel door TR331 is produced as a plain dark walnut pivot leaf in a black frame. Like every door we make, this model is produced to measure; no ready-made leaves are supplied from stock.

Product Code: TR331

Leaf Surface

The leaf layout is a single pivot leaf. The leaf surface is worked as a plain flat surface with a black frame. The catalog color is a dark walnut tone.

It is completed with a recessed handle. The finish pictured is the catalog selection — a different finish can be chosen from the surface finish options.

The design language is defined as minimal pivot.

Who Is This Model For?

It is chosen primarily for villa entrances and wide-fronted detached homes. The one-piece leaf presents an unbroken surface from the outside. Because the load rests on the floor rather than on hinges, the leaf can be far wider and thicker. As it requires swing clearance, it is not suited to narrow entrances that open directly onto stairs; the conditions are listed on the when to choose a pivot door page.

From Measurement to Installation

We take the measurements during the survey — based on the door opening, not the existing leaf; the method is explained on the how measurements are taken page. This model's frame, leaf and lock specifications are in the table below; the lock systems and galvanized or DKP sheet steel pages detail the options. The care steps that extend the door's life are on the care and lifespan page, and coverage details on the warranty and service page.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the price of the TR331 determined?

There is no fixed price — since every leaf is made to measure, the amount varies with size, finish and lock choice. After the survey we send a written, itemized quote. The line items are detailed on the steel door prices page.

Can the color of the TR331 be changed?

Yes — the color isn't fixed. The catalog shows dark walnut, but the finish is chosen per project; on the surface finish options page we cover which surface works best where.

Do I need to take the measurements myself?

Our survey team measures on site. If you'd still like to know the process, the how measurements are taken page explains the three points we measure.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a custom villa door?

Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.

How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?

Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.

What measurements do you need to quote?

The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.

Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?

Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.

Who installs the door at the destination?

Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.

What export documents travel with the shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
