The paneled red walnut double-leaf pivot door appears in the catalog under code BY-236. Production begins after you order: first comes an on-site survey, then the leaf is manufactured to fit the door opening.

Product code: BY-236

Craftsmanship on the Leaf

The door is structured as a double leaf. The surface work is paneled, finished in a red walnut tone.

Color, pattern, and handle can all be changed to suit your project; the cladding options page compares what's available.

The design language is classic pivot.

Which Entrance Does It Suit?

It is typically used on wide-fronted detached houses and at hotel and showroom entrances. Thanks to the side sections, wide door openings are closed with a single unit. Because a pivot system transfers the leaf's weight to the floor, it can carry a taller, heavier leaf than a hinged door. As the leaf swings it takes up space in front and behind, so the entrance must allow for that clearance — details on the when to choose a pivot door page.

From Measurement to Installation

We take the measurements during the site survey — based on the door opening, not the existing leaf; the method is explained on the how measurements are taken page. You'll find this model's frame, leaf, and lock specifications in the table below; the lock systems and galvanized or DKP sheet steel pages cover the options in detail. After delivery, warranty and service coverage takes effect; see the care and lifespan page for keeping the surface in good shape.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much is BY-236?

We don't publish list prices, because every door is made to measure. The total is determined by the size of the door opening and the cladding, glass, and lock you choose. After the free site survey we send a written quote, itemized line by line; we explain what moves the price on the steel door prices page.

Can I have this model in a color other than red walnut?

Yes. The red walnut finish shown is this model's catalog choice; it can be produced in other colors with compact laminate, composite, marine plywood, and wood veneer options. We compare them on the cladding options page.

How does the measuring stage work when ordering BY-236?

We take the measurements during the site survey; nothing is needed from you. Measurements come from the door opening, not the existing leaf — we explain the method on the how measurements are taken page.

How do I order the BY-236 model?

You can fill in the pre-order form on our site or reach us on 0532 689 21 46. Mentioning the product code BY-236 in your request speeds things up. You can browse other pivot steel door models on the pivot steel door models page.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a custom villa door?

Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.

How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?

Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.

What measurements do you need to quote?

The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.

Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?

Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.

Who installs the door at the destination?

Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.

What export documents travel with the shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
