The paneled walnut pivot villa door appears in our catalogue under code BY-94. It is not sold in ready-made sizes; your entrance is measured on site and the leaf is manufactured to fit. The catalogue finish is a walnut tone.

Product Code: BY-94

Leaf Surface Detailing

The leaf structure is a single leaf. The leaf is built with panels. The finish is a walnut tone.

The cladding and hardware are not fixed; the door can be produced with any of the alternatives on the cladding options page.

The design language is defined as classic pivot.

Which Entrances Does It Suit?

It is typically used at detached homes with wide frontages and villa entrances. Its single-leaf design sits naturally in entrances of standard width. Since the load rests on the floor rather than on hinges, the leaf can be far wider and thicker. Because it needs swing clearance, it is not suitable for narrow entrances opening directly onto stairs; the conditions are listed on the when to choose a pivot door page.

From Measurement to Installation

We take the measurements during the site survey — based on the door opening, not the existing leaf; the method is explained on the how measurements are taken page. You will find this model's frame, leaf and lock values in the table below; the lock systems and galvanized or DKP sheet steel pages detail the options. The care steps that extend the door's life are on the care and lifespan page, and coverage details are on the warranty and service page.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the BY-94 model cost?

The price cannot be quoted before measuring. The size of the door opening and your cladding, glass and lock choices directly affect the cost; the site survey is free and is followed by an itemized quote. See steel door prices for details.

Can I order this model in a color other than walnut?

You can. Walnut is simply the finish in the photo, not a fixed choice — you can pick from the alternatives on the cladding options page.

How are measurements taken for the BY-94?

Measuring is our job. We measure the clear width of the door opening, its height from the finished floor and the wall thickness; details are on the how measurements are taken page.

How can I order the BY-94 model?

You can fill in the pre-order form on our site or call us on 0532 689 21 46. Mentioning product code BY-94 in your request speeds things up. You can browse other pivot steel door models on the pivot steel door models page.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a custom villa door?

Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.

How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?

Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.

What measurements do you need to quote?

The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.

Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?

Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.

Who installs the door at the destination?

Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.

What export documents travel with the shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
