The tall-leaf, light-walnut narrow pivot door is listed in the catalog under the code BY-111. There's no standard size — the door opening is measured during the survey, and production follows that measurement.

Product Code: BY-111

Surface Pattern and Finish

The leaf layout is single-leaf. The leaf is produced as a tall, narrow design. The catalog color is a light walnut tone.

The finish shown is the catalog choice — a different cladding can be selected from our cladding options.

The design language is described as modern pivot.

Who Is This Model For?

Villa entrances and wide-fronted detached houses are the typical settings for this model. The one-piece leaf presents an unbroken surface when viewed from outside. The leaf turns on bearings set into the floor and the head frame, which makes possible sizes a hinge simply couldn't carry. In return, it needs clearance to swing both in front of and behind the door. Our when to choose a pivot door page explains which entrances suit it.

From Measurement to Installation

We take the measurement during the on-site survey — it's based on the door opening, not the existing leaf; the method is explained on our how measurements are taken page. You'll find this model's frame, leaf and lock specifications in the table below; our lock systems and galvanized vs. cold-rolled steel pages detail the options. After delivery, our warranty and service terms apply — see our care and lifespan page for how to protect the finish.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the price of the BY-111 model?

There's no fixed price — since every leaf is manufactured to measure, the amount depends on size, cladding and lock choice. We send a written, itemized quote after the survey. We've broken down the line items on our steel door prices page.

Can I have this model made in a color other than light walnut?

Yes. The light walnut finish shown is this model's catalog choice; it can be produced in other colors using compact laminate, composite, water-transfer or wood-effect cladding. We've compared the options on our cladding options page.

Do I need to take the measurement myself?

Our survey team measures on site. If you'd still like to understand the process, we've written up the three points we measure on our how measurements are taken page.

How can I order the BY-111 model?

You can fill out the pre-order form on the site, or reach us at 0532 689 21 46. Mentioning the BY-111 product code in your request speeds up the process. You can browse other pivot steel door models on our pivot steel door models page.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a custom villa door?

Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.

How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?

Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.

What measurements do you need to quote?

The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.

Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?

Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.

Who installs the door at the destination?

Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.

What export documents travel with the shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
