The triangular glass anthracite double leaf pivot door appears in our catalog under code BY-258. It is not sold in standard sizes; your entrance is measured on site and the door leaf is built to that exact measurement.

Product Code: BY-258

Leaf Surface

The leaf structure is double leaf. The leaf is built with triangular glass sections. The finish is an anthracite tone.

Color, pattern and handle choices can be adapted to your project; the alternatives are compared on the surface finish options page.

The design language is defined as modern pivot.

Which Entrances Suit This Model?

It is chosen primarily for wide-fronted detached homes and villa entrances. It is designed for wide openings: the side sections both make up the width and bring light into the entrance. The leaf turns on bearings set into the floor and head frame, making sizes possible that hinges could never carry. In return, it needs swing clearance in front of and behind the door. The when to choose a pivot door page explains which entrances are suitable.

From Measurement to Installation

Measurements are taken from the door opening, not the existing leaf; the how measurements are taken page walks through it step by step. Frame, sheet thickness, infill and lock specifications are listed in the table below. Sheet steel choices are compared on the galvanized or DKP sheet steel page, and lock alternatives on the lock systems page. After installation, our care and lifespan guidance and warranty and service terms apply.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the BY-258 cost?

There is no fixed price — since every leaf is made to measure, the amount varies with size, finish and lock choice. After the survey we send a written, itemized quote. The line items are detailed on the steel door prices page.

Can the color of the BY-258 be changed?

Yes — the color isn't fixed. The catalog shows anthracite, but the finish is chosen per project; on the surface finish options page we cover which surface works best where.

Do I need to take the measurements myself?

Our survey team measures on site. If you'd still like to know the process, the how measurements are taken page explains the three points we measure.

How can I order model BY-258?

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a custom villa door?

Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.

How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?

Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.

What measurements do you need to quote?

The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.

Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?

Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.

Who installs the door at the destination?

Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.

What export documents travel with the shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
