This vertical louvered dark walnut gold-handle pivot door is listed in our catalog under code BY-186. It has no standard size — the door opening is measured during the survey and the door is built to that measurement.
Product Code: BY-186
Surface Pattern and Finish
The door is configured as a single leaf. The leaf is produced with vertical louvers and a gold handle. The catalog color is a dark walnut tone.
The finish in the image is the catalog choice — a different finish can be selected from our surface finish options.
The design language is best described as luxury pivot.
Who Is This Model For?
It is chosen primarily for villa entrances and office and plaza entrances. The one-piece leaf presents an unbroken surface when viewed from outside. Because the load rests on the floor rather than on hinges, the leaf can be far wider and thicker. Since it needs swing clearance, it is not suited to narrow entrances that open directly onto stairs; the requirements are listed on the when to choose a pivot door page.
Production and Installation Process
Measurements are taken from the door opening, not the existing leaf; we explain the process step by step on the how measurements are taken page. Frame, sheet thickness, infill and lock specifications are listed in the table below. Sheet steel choices are compared on the galvanized or DKP sheet steel page, and lock alternatives on the lock systems page. The care steps that extend the door's life are on the care and lifespan page, and the coverage terms on the warranty and service page.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the BY-186 cost?
There is no fixed price — since every leaf is made to measure, the total depends on the dimensions, the surface finish and the lock you choose. After the survey we send a written, fully itemized quotation. We break down the cost items on our steel door prices page.
Can the color of the BY-186 door be changed?
Yes. The dark walnut finish in the image is simply this model's catalog choice; it can be produced in other colors with compact laminate, composite, marine plywood or wood veneer finishes. We compare them on our surface finish options page.
Do I need to take the measurements myself?
We take the measurements during the survey; nothing is required on your side. Measurements come from the door opening, not the existing leaf — the method is described on our how measurements are taken page.
How can I order the BY-186 model?
You can fill in the pre-order form on our website or reach us on 0532 689 21 46. Quoting product code BY-186 in your request helps speed things up. You can browse our other pivot steel doors on the pivot steel door models page.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the lead time for a custom villa door?
Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.
How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?
Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.
What measurements do you need to quote?
The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.
Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?
Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.
Who installs the door at the destination?
Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.
What export documents travel with the shipment?
Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
