The wide-panel walnut double-leaf pivot door appears in our catalog under code BY-29. Production begins after your order: an on-site survey comes first, and the leaf is built to fit the door opening.

Product Code: BY-29

The Leaf Surface

The leaf configuration is double leaf. The leaf is built with a wide-panel construction. The finish is walnut.

The finish shown is the catalog choice — a different cladding can be selected from the cladding options.

The design language is defined as modern pivot.

Which Entrance Is It Right For?

It is typically used for wide-fronted detached homes and villa entrances. Thanks to the side sections, wide door openings are closed off with a single assembly. Because the weight rests on the floor rather than on hinges, the leaf can be far wider and thicker. Since it needs swing clearance, it is not suited to narrow entrances that open directly onto a staircase; the conditions are listed on the when to choose a pivot door page.

The Production and Installation Process

We take the measurements during the survey — based on the door opening, not the existing leaf; the method is described on the how measurements are taken page. This model's frame, leaf and lock values are in the table below; the lock systems and galvanized sheet or DKP (cold-rolled) sheet pages detail the options. After delivery, warranty and service coverage takes effect; see the care and lifespan page for keeping the surface in good condition.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does model BY-29 cost?

There is no fixed price — since every leaf is made to measure, the total depends on the dimensions, the cladding and the lock you choose. After the survey we send a written, itemized quote. The line items are detailed on the steel door prices page.

Can the BY-29 be produced in a different color?

Yes, the color is not fixed. It appears in walnut in the catalog, but the cladding is decided per project; on the cladding options page we explain which surface works best where.

How are measurements taken for the BY-29?

Our survey team measures on site. If you would still like to know the process, the how measurements are taken page explains the three points we measure.

How can I order model BY-29?

You can fill in the pre-order form on our site or call us on 0532 689 21 46. Mentioning product code BY-29 in your request speeds things up. You can browse other pivot steel door models on the pivot steel door models page.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a custom villa door?

Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.

How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?

Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.

What measurements do you need to quote?

The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.

Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?

Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.

Who installs the door at the destination?

Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.

What export documents travel with the shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
