The model on this page is a vertical slatted honey-toned double leaf pivot door, product code BY-41. It has no standard size — the door opening is measured during the survey and the door is built to that measurement.

Product Code: BY-41

Surface Pattern and Finish

The door is configured as a double leaf. The leaf is produced with a vertical slatted design. The catalog color is a honey tone.

Neither the surface finish nor the hardware is fixed; the door can be produced with any of the alternatives on our surface finish options page.

The design language is best described as modern pivot.

Who Is This Model For?

Villa entrances and office and plaza entrances are where this model is typically used. It is designed for wide openings: the side sections make up the width while also bringing light into the entrance. Because a pivot system transfers the leaf's weight into the floor, it can carry a taller, heavier leaf than a hinged door. As the leaf swings it takes up space both in front and behind, so the entrance must allow for this clearance — the details are on our when to choose a pivot door page.

Production and Installation Process

We take the measurements during the survey — working from the door opening, not the existing leaf; the method is explained on the how measurements are taken page. You will find this model's frame, leaf and lock specifications in the table below; the lock systems and galvanized or DKP sheet steel pages cover the options in detail. After delivery, our warranty and service coverage applies; see the care and lifespan page for keeping the surface in good condition.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the BY-41 model cost?

We cannot quote a price before measuring. The size of the door opening and your choice of finish, glass and lock all directly affect the total; the survey is free, and an itemized quotation follows. See our steel door prices page for details.

Can I have this model in a color other than honey?

Yes. The honey finish in the image is simply this model's catalog choice; it can be produced in other colors with compact laminate, composite, marine plywood or wood veneer finishes. We compare them on our surface finish options page.

How does measuring work when ordering the BY-41?

Measuring is our job. We measure the clear width of the door opening, its height from the finished floor and the wall thickness; the details are on the how measurements are taken page.

How can I order the BY-41 model?

You can fill in the pre-order form on our website or reach us on 0532 689 21 46. Quoting product code BY-41 in your request helps speed things up. You can browse our other pivot steel doors on the pivot steel door models page.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a custom villa door?

Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.

How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?

Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.

What measurements do you need to quote?

The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.

Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?

Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.

Who installs the door at the destination?

Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.

What export documents travel with the shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
