Product Code: BY-263
Surface Pattern and Finish
The door is configured as a double leaf. The surface is worked as a design for lit entrances. The catalog color is black.
Cladding and hardware are not fixed; the door can be produced with any of the alternatives on the cladding options page.
The design language is defined as luxury pivot.
Who Is This Model For?
Villa entrances and hotel and showroom entrances are this model's typical settings. Because the side sections extend the opening, it suits wide-fronted entrances rather than narrow ones — and brings daylight into the hall. Since a pivot system transfers the leaf's weight to the floor, it can carry a taller and heavier leaf than a hinged door. As the leaf takes up space at the front and back while turning, the entrance must allow for this clearance — details are on the when to choose a pivot door page.
Production and Installation Process
We take the measurements during the survey — the door opening is the reference, not the existing leaf; the method is explained on the how measurements are taken page. You will find this model's frame, leaf and lock specifications in the table below; the lock systems and galvanized or DKP sheet steel pages detail the options. After delivery, warranty and service coverage applies; see the care and lifespan page for protecting the finish.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is the price of the BY-263 determined?
There is no fixed price — since every leaf is made to measure, the total depends on the dimensions, the cladding and the lock you choose. After the survey we send a written, itemized quote. The line items are detailed on the steel door prices page.
Can the BY-263 be produced in a different color?
Yes — the color is not fixed. It appears in black in the catalog, but the cladding is decided per project; on the cladding options page we cover which surface works best where.
How are measurements taken for the BY-263?
Measuring is our job. We record the clear width of the door opening, its height from the finished floor and the wall thickness; details are on the how measurements are taken page.
How can I order the BY-263?
You can fill in the pre-order form on our site or call us on 0532 689 21 46. Mentioning product code BY-263 in your request speeds the process up. You can browse other pivot steel door models on the pivot steel door models page.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the lead time for a custom villa door?
Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.
How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?
Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.
What measurements do you need to quote?
The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.
Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?
Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.
Who installs the door at the destination?
Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.
What export documents travel with the shipment?
Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
