The crescent-glass black pivot door appears in our catalog under code BY-47. It is built to measure; whatever the width and height of your entrance, the leaf is produced to match. The catalog finish is black.

Product Code: BY-47

Surface Pattern and Finish

The leaf structure is single leaf. The surface is worked with a crescent glass detail. The finish is black.

The finish in the photo is the catalog choice — a different cladding can be selected from our cladding options.

Its design language is best described as modern pivot.

Which Entrances Suit It?

It is chosen primarily for wide-fronted detached homes and villa entrances. The one-piece leaf presents an unbroken surface from the outside. The leaf rotates on bearings set into the floor and the head frame, which makes sizes possible that hinges could never carry. In return, it needs swing clearance in front of and behind the door. Our when to choose a pivot door page explains which entrances are a good fit.

Production and Installation Process

We take the measurements during the survey — based on the door opening, not the existing leaf; the method is explained on the how measurements are taken page. You will find this model's frame, leaf, and lock specifications in the table below; the lock systems and galvanized or DKP sheet pages detail the options. After installation, our care and lifespan guidance and warranty and service terms apply.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much is model BY-47?

There is no fixed price — since every leaf is built to measure, the cost varies with the dimensions, the cladding, and the lock you choose. After the survey, we send a written, itemized quote. The line items are detailed on the steel door prices page.

Can the color of BY-47 be changed?

Yes. The black finish in the photo is this model's catalog choice; it can be produced in other colors with compact laminate, composite, marine plywood, and wood cladding options. We compare them on the cladding options page.

How does the measurement stage work when ordering BY-47?

Measuring is our job. We take the clear width of the door opening, the height from the finished floor, and the wall thickness; the details are on the how measurements are taken page.

How do I order model BY-47?

You can fill out the pre-order form on our site or reach us at 0532 689 21 46. Mentioning product code BY-47 in your request speeds things up. You can browse our other pivot steel door models on the pivot steel door models page.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a custom villa door?

Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.

How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?

Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.

What measurements do you need to quote?

The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.

Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?

Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.

Who installs the door at the destination?

Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.

What export documents travel with the shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
