A walnut pivot leaf carrying a wide horizontal stainless steel plate, with a letterbox alongside — that is what sets this pivot steel door, model TR353, apart. Like every door we build, this model is made to measure; we never supply an off-the-shelf leaf.

Product Code: TR353

Leaf and Glass Layout

The leaf layout is a single pivot leaf plus a narrow side glass panel. The leaf surface is worked with a wide horizontal stainless steel plate at its center. The catalog color is a walnut tone.

The glazing takes the form of a narrow vertical side panel. The handle is recessed into the plate. The finish shown is the catalog choice — a different cladding can be selected from the cladding options.

Its design language is best described as modern pivot.

Who Is This Model For?

It is typically used for villa entrances and hotel and showroom entrances. Thanks to the side sections, wide door openings are closed with a single assembly. The leaf turns on bearings set into the floor and the head of the frame, which makes sizes possible that hinges could never carry. In return, it needs swing clearance in front of and behind the door. The when to choose a pivot door page explains which entrances are a good fit.

Production and Installation Process

Production starts with measurements taken on site. How the door opening is measured is covered on the how measurements are taken page; material choices are on the galvanized or DKP sheet and lock systems pages. This model's technical values are in the table below. After installation, the care and lifespan and warranty and service terms apply.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does model TR353 cost?

We can't quote a price before measuring. The size of the door opening and your cladding, glass and lock choices directly affect the total; the survey is free, and an itemized quote follows. See steel door prices for details.

Can I order this model in a color other than walnut?

You can. Walnut is simply the finish photographed, not a fixed spec — you can choose from the alternatives on the cladding options page.

Can the glass on the TR353 be changed?

Yes. The glass shown is this model's catalog finish; provided Şişecam 5+5 mm laminated glass is used, it can be produced in a different color and pattern. It can also be made without glass.

How does measuring work when ordering the TR353?

We take the measurements during the survey; nothing is required on your side. Measurements come from the door opening, not the existing leaf — the method is explained on the how measurements are taken page.

How can I order model TR353?

You can fill in the pre-order form on our site or reach us on 0532 689 21 46. Mentioning product code TR353 in your request speeds things up. You can browse other pivot steel door models on the pivot steel door models page.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lead time for a custom villa door?

Production takes 20-25 days from the day the specification is approved. Custom detailing — carved cladding, oversized leaves, special glass — can extend that, and we confirm the date in writing before starting. Ocean freight time to the destination port is added on top.

How are steel doors packaged for sea freight export?

Each door is crated in a wooden case built to its own dimensions, with edge protection and corner blocks, then strapped to prevent movement inside the container. Full container loading is used for project quantities; single doors and small orders ship as groupage cargo.

What measurements do you need to quote?

The width, height and wall thickness of the rough opening, in millimetres or in inches — whichever your drawings use. Photographs of the opening from inside and outside help us confirm the swing direction and the frame detail. No site visit is needed.

Can you manufacture to imperial (inch) dimensions?

Yes. An opening given as 36 x 80 inches is manufactured to that dimension directly. Nothing is converted to a nearest metric size and rounded, so the door arrives at the size your drawing specifies.

Who installs the door at the destination?

Your own contractor. Every shipment includes an installation drawing and the frame fixing set, and the frame is designed to be set into the opening without special tooling.

What export documents travel with the shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, plus whatever else the customs broker at the destination requires. Documentation is prepared before the container leaves the factory.
