Ordu Steel Doors & Made-to-Measure Villa Door Manufacturing
Ordu is hazelnut country: steep slopes running straight down to the sea, high rainfall through most of the year and a building stock spread across ground that rarely offers a level entrance. Both the humidity and the terrain shape how a door is built and how it gets to the address.
Districts we serve: Altınordu, Ünye, Fatsa, Perşembe, Gölköy, Kumru, Korgan, Çaybaşı
Corrosion exposure
The coastal strip sits in ISO 9223 class C3-C4. Rain washes salt off the surface, so build-up is lower than on the Aegean coast; in exchange the surface stays wet almost continuously, and that wet time is what drives the corrosion rate.
What puts a door to the test in Ordu?
Rain is spread through the year and the surface rarely dries. On steep ground rainwater runs toward the entrance rather than pooling in front of it, so the threshold takes water that a level site would never see. Moisture that gets behind a gasket has no interval in which to drain.
Delivery and installation
Deliveries are planned in batches and the survey is combined with the installation. On steep access we plan how the leaf reaches the entrance before production — a wide leaf cannot always be carried up assembled.
How we build for Ordu
Fully sealed weld seams and a drained bottom edge come first, then the threshold detail: a bottom profile with a drip edge, the correct slope and, where the ground falls toward the door, a drainage channel. Moving parts are stainless on the coastal strip.

Every leaf is built the same way regardless of the model: an Ereğli A1-grade 2 mm sheet frame, a 1.5 + 1.5 mm omega-folded monoblock leaf 90 mm thick, and 80 kg/m³ rock wool as the core fill. The lock and hinge areas are reinforced to 3 mm, and the lock itself is an Italian Mottura or Mul-T-Lock unit.
Rain runs through most of the year and the surface rarely dries, so weld seams are sealed and the lower edge drained as a matter of course. On the coastal strip the moving parts are stainless.

An exterior door faces rain, sun and the day-to-night temperature swing head-on, so the cladding decision matters more than anything else. We use compact laminate, composite and marine plywood claddings that hold up outdoors, 304-grade stainless hardware as standard, and Şişecam 5+5 mm laminated glass in glazed models.
On sloping ground run-off arrives at the entrance instead of pooling in front of it, which makes the threshold the deciding detail: drip edge, correct slope and a drainage channel where the ground falls toward the door.

A pivot door carries its weight on floor and ceiling bearings instead of hinges, which is what makes sizes above 1.2 m and leaf weights past 200 kg possible. The bearing set is the critical component: we use a load-rated pivot system, and the floor bearing is positioned against the structural slab during installation, not into the screed.
Pivot doors go into the newer houses on the slopes above the coast. The floor bearing sits exactly where run-off passes, so the drainage detail is planned before the bearing position is fixed.

Common questions from Ordu
Does Bayrakdoor carry out a free site survey in Ordu?
Yes, and there are two ways to do it. The online survey is free and immediate: you send photographs and the measurements of the opening, and we return a written quote. For confirmed orders the on-site survey is also free — we combine it with the installation in a single trip to Ordu, so the distance costs you nothing.
How many days does delivery take for a steel door or villa door ordered in Ordu?
Production takes 20-25 days once the measurements are approved, plus road transport to Ordu. The figure moves with the specification: cladding, lock system and non-standard dimensions all affect it. Shipments are planned in batches and the installation date is fixed at the time of the order, so it appears in your written quote rather than being estimated afterwards.
What is the warranty on villa doors used outdoors, and how durable are the materials?
Manufacturing and workmanship defects are covered with no time limit, and a two-year official warranty certificate is issued on delivery. Component warranties follow their own manufacturers — up to 25 years on the lock system. Outdoors, durability comes down to the specification: an Ereğli A1-grade body, a cladding rated for exterior use such as compact laminate or composite, stainless hardware and a multi-layer paint system.
Water runs toward the door on a sloping plot. What can be done?
The fix is at the threshold and in front of it: a bottom profile with a drip edge, the correct slope and a drainage channel where the ground falls toward the entrance. No leaf specification compensates for water arriving at the door and staying there.
Do the hinges need to be stainless here?
On the coastal strip, yes. The surface stays wet for long periods and salt is present even if rain washes most of it off; the moving parts are what corrode first. Inland and higher up, standard hardware with a good coating is enough.
How the process works in Ordu
Just send us the code of the model you like. Our team travels to Ordu, measures the width, height and wall thickness of the door opening, and checks the installation conditions on site. We then prepare a written, itemized quote. The site survey is free and doesn't commit you to anything.
Manufacturing happens at our own factory in Gaziosmanpaşa, Istanbul, and our own team handles installation. With no middlemen involved, one company is responsible for measurement, production and service.
Request your free survey for Ordu
Send the measurements of the door opening and a photograph over WhatsApp and we will price it the same day — the survey is free and places you under no obligation. If you would rather talk it through, give us a call; a model code is enough to start.
